Not really. Pardon me! I really hoped that this monstrous effects system would satisfy your needs. But indeed I had to laugh out loud that you consider going back to single pedals after a few weeks only. It's rather painful than amusing.

Time is the issue. I let all the amps and pedals go because I didn't have the time or energy to give them the care and feeding. The psychological error I've made is assuming one box would be easier to manage. It is one one box but it has the complexity of 10 amps and 100 pedals... plus a home studio.

I'm getting really involved in figuring it all out, and that's the problem. Too much time that I don't have. Actually, the correct description is "it requires head space that I choose not to give it".

I've put the beast on kijiji. I'll see what comes of it. If anyone wants it, I'm asking CAD$3,800 for it all which is about $500 less than it all cost landed here in Calgary.

My current plan is to fall back to simplicity.

Laurie, is there a specific reason why you prefer a GHF over a VFZ? And how is the Fractal unit when it comes to vintage fuzz tones?
