I accidentally bought a KORG CX-3 vintage stage organ that needs some overhauling. My wife who received the eBay "Congratulations" e-mail shouted at me why on Earth I didn't tell her that I was going to buy something. I simply didn't expect the organ to sell for such a low price ...

Here is a picture from the eBay auction:



It even comes with a beat-up case. I just hope that the picture doesn't reflect the real colour of the organ. My big BX-3 has a nice brown wood tone and this CX-3 looks a bit like having been painted black ... we'll see!

Due to a week full with stomach flu and migraine I haven't had a real chance to show you a few pictures of my recent purchase. The CX-3 has arrived on Thursday and it was really, really, really not nice looking. One of the previous owners did a very bad paint job and the tolex and the "Hammond" sticker didn't make it better.

At first I removed the glue residue with a special spray. Next job to be done: key cleaning, because:



I'm going to remove the horrible paint job and I will try to do a better one. Cannot become worse.
