Some real nice amps here.

Marshall 3210 Mosfet Head & an old solid state Maine 120w combo. The Mosfet is my live amp while the Maine is used for cleans when recording.

The mic'd up cab is mine, here it is.

I know I don't post here too much, but I feel like you guys appreciate interesting things. The amp on the top is a new Electro-Harmonix Mig-50. EHX did 18 of these recently and there's talk of a proper reissue coming. Like the old ones but better, pretty much dirty from 9 o'clock on with my Les Paul haha. Then on the bottom is my replica '67 Marshall JMP 50 1986 spec that I built, has original Mustard caps and a bunch of old stuff in it and Chris Merren transformers. The speaker cabinet is a Scumback 2x12 with Scumnico PVC 65w speakers. I love using my Boss OD & Dirt pedals with the Marshall especially, it's a perfect match up. (btw I've since replaced the broken on/off switch on the JMP).

Are these Mig amps the same as the Sovtek amps from the 90's?

Cool Marshall replica, btw.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, the Mig is the same as the original. It's built a little different, but overall better. The knobs have a better taper as well. I have some pictures and clips using some of my pedals with it on Instagram @star_lording. For $595 shipped I'm really happy with it, and from what I remember compares very well to the Mig 30 I used to own.

I remember staring at Sovtek and Redbear amps in our local music store, when I was a teenager.
Just because they looked even cooler than Marshalls, and definetely more rocking than Fender amps, which all seemed to have this vintage look.
I never played one though, in hindsight I can't remember why not! Couldn't afford it anyway....

I remember when I was in high school, my first amp was Fender Frontman 25 which I still have. So I know where you're coming from Dirk, haha. It took me several years to get the parts to build my JMP 50, otherwise I wouldn't have anything like it. The Mig-50 is definitely more in my comfort zone price wise.
