Track season is OVER!

We had our final meet last night. Sad to see my 8th graders go - I've coached most of them for two seasons of track and two seasons of cross country, taken many of them to cross country camp at the Sleeping Bear Dunes in northern Michigan, spent tough weather runs with them during winter running club, and spent fun morning runs with them during summer running club. They will always be a part of my life, and I look forward to watching them develop as athletes and individuals in high school and beyond.
BUT - the end of track season means more time for playing - and I've actually had my SG out each of the past four nights, playing through a number of pedal combinations (but mostly just through my BD-2). My callouses have gone a bit soft, but my fingers seem to remember what to do, even after only sporadic playing for the past couple months.
Anyway, all this is to say that I'm BACK!
