The old BossArea as an App?

There are 427 Boss products that we know about and they're all in the product.
There are probably much more than 427 typos and that will take me some time to sort.

Every product has specifications and production span added
There's an image closeup page with image gallery if more images exists.

Looks good! But I don't have a smartphone, otherwise I might love to use it.

There's a search function, the label page is done and the serial number decoder is in here as well as in the separate app launched earlier.

There's still a to do before I'm at version 1.0.
The image gallery needs to have swipe left and write for next image, there will be a page with old adverts, some layout tweaks needs doing and I just realized that there was once a monitor called MA-12AV that I never knew about.

Even after launch, there are lots of improvements that I can do.
- I'd like to add a timeline for every item.
- I have a serial number archive with several thousand numbers added. I'd like to publish that and add the possibility of adding serial numbers too.
- I'd like to create more stuff for collectors like possibility to mark items that you already own.
- Maybe a page with collectibles that aren't products. I'm thinking key chains, stickers, plaques and other stuff that Boss has given away as advertising.
- A page with the commemorative pedals marking anniversaries and sales milestones given to distributors.
- ...and anything else that you might want to see in there.

I don't own the website anymore but I've provided a copy of the old forum to the new owner so it could still happen.

I thought the main problem in the end was incompatibility with new forum software standards? It was nice to have some bits of information from the old forum back again as resource.

Yes, converting the old forum to a format understood by any other forum software was difficult and would take some time. The old forum software was a bit of a hacker's dream and that, combined with my dayjob taking way too much time is why I finally had enough and just shut it down. Today I would have had the time to work around the problems but time moves on...

It'd be over 7 years out of date now. That's over 100 years in internet time....
